Childress Duffy Goldblatt - Real Estate Legal Assistant

Tasks Include:

  • Prepare documents and pleadings
  • Perform database searches
  • Type and transcribe correspondence
  • Open new matters
  • Create & maintain Access databases
  • Organizing files
  • Close files
  • Assist in timekeeping and billing
  • Obtain information requested by clients
  • Follow up with clients
  • Assist with spreadsheets and power point presentations
  • Any project assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience
  • Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
  • Proficient typist capable of transcribing dictation
  • Typing speed of at least 70 wpm
  • Able to support attorney team of five
  • Able to work with other support staff
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • English required, Spanish speaking plus
  • Able to generate real estate documents
  • Must be curious and hard working
